Booking & Event Policy
This policy applies to all October House Co. events and experiences, including private paint parties, workshops, pop-up events, and future creative offerings.
Booking & Payment

Full payment is required at the time of booking or registration

All bookings and event registrations are non-refundable

Your spot is secured only once payment is received
Due to the custom nature of our projects, materials are prepared specifically for each registered guest.
Communication Policy
To ensure clarity and proper documentation, all event communication will be handled via email.
This allows us to:

Maintain accurate records of event details

Confirm information efficiently

Ensure nothing is missed or miscommunicated
Once registered or booked, hosts can expect:

An initial confirmation and check-in email within 48 hours

Ongoing communication and reminders sent weekly leading up to the event
Day-of communication via phone is used only if necessary for access, setup coordination, or time-sensitive updates.
Please ensure the email address provided at checkout is correct and regularly monitored. October House Co. is not responsible for missed information due to incorrect email addresses or messages filtered to spam.
Attendee Information Requirement
To ensure a smooth and personalized experience, the full name of each attendee is required prior to the event.
Attendee names allow us to:

Cut, trace, or prep projects accurately

Bundle materials per person

Ensure an organized and efficient setup
If attendee names are not submitted by the requested deadline, preparation may be delayed or limited to generic kits.
Rescheduling Policy
We understand that schedules can change.

One (1) reschedule is permitted with at least 14 days’ notice

Rescheduled events are subject to availability
-
Requests made within less than 14 days of the scheduled event may require a new booking fee or full rebooking
Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing.
Cancellations & Refunds
Because materials are custom-prepared in advance:

All bookings and registrations are non-refundable

No refunds or credits are issued for cancellations or no-shows
This policy applies regardless of reason, including scheduling conflicts or last-minute changes.
Missed Event Policy
If you are unable to attend an event you registered for:

Your project still belongs to you
-
We are happy to package your materials as a Take & Make kit
-
Kits may be picked up locally or shipped at the guest’s expense
Due to the custom preparation involved, missed events do not qualify for refunds or transfers.
Emergencies & Extenuating Circumstances
We recognize that true emergencies happen.
If an emergency prevents attendance, please reach out as soon as possible. While refunds cannot be guaranteed, we will always do our best to offer a reasonable alternative, such as:

A Take & Make kit

A one-time courtesy reschedule (availability permitting)

Final Notes
October House Co. reserves the right to adjust policies seasonally or as offerings expand. Any changes will be clearly communicated at the time of booking.
