Shipping & Local Pickup Policy

We know how exciting it is to receive your handmade goodies. Here’s everything you need to know about how shipping and local pickup work at October House Co.

 


 

Processing & Turnaround Times

Most orders are processed within 5–7 business days (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays).

Processing time includes:

  • Creating or preparing your item

  • Quality checks

  • Packaging and labeling

During peak seasons, launches, or special events, processing times may extend slightly. If delays are expected, we’ll always communicate them clearly.

Please note: Processing time is not the same as shipping transit time. Transit time begins once your order has shipped.

Turnaround times may vary by product and will be clearly stated on the website and in your order confirmation email.

 


 

Shipping Methods & Transit Times

Orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail or UPS, depending on package size, destination, and order contents.

Available shipping options (when applicable) are calculated at checkout and may include:

  • Standard Shipping (estimated 5–7 business days transit)

  • Expedited Shipping (estimated 2–3 business days transit)

  • Express Shipping (estimated 1 business day transit)

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:

  • Destination

  • Package weight and size

  • Selected shipping method

Shipping transit times are estimates and are not guaranteed.

 


 

Domestic Shipping

October House Co. currently ships to addresses within the United States only.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information so you can follow your package’s journey.

 


 

Shipping Delays

While we do our best to meet estimated delivery timelines, delays may occur due to:

  • Carrier issues

  • Weather conditions

  • Seasonal shipping volume

  • Factors outside our control

October House Co. is not responsible for carrier-related delays once a package is in transit. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

 


 

Lost or Damaged Packages

If your package is lost, delayed beyond the expected delivery window, or arrives damaged, please contact hello@octoberhouseco.com within 3 days of the expected delivery date.

Include:

  • Your order number

  • A brief description of the issue

  • Photos of the item and packaging (if damaged)

We’ll work with you to determine the best next steps.

 


 

Local Pickup (When Available)

Local pickup may be offered for select products or events and will be clearly noted at checkout.

Pickup details, including location and timing, will be shared via email once your order is ready. Orders must be picked up within the communicated timeframe unless prior arrangements are made.
