Whether it's your grandparent's house you visited every summer or the first house you purchased as a couple. Maybe it's the family lake house or a special place you had to say good-bye to, or the chapel your parents said their "I dos". 

This custom work is designed to honor those places.

Each piece is created from real photos, provided by you, and transformed into a layered wood design that highlights the structure, character, and details that make the house recognizable and of course, meaningful. From rooflines and windows to porches and architectural features, every design is thoughtfully interpreted into the finished piece that feels both personal and ever lasting.

The Process:

1. You complete the questionnaire and submit the form.
   
2. You'll receive an email from hello@octoberhouseco.com within 48-72 hours.
3. Follow the instructions sent in the email to secure your artwork, timeline, and make the required non-refundable deposit.
   
   1. IMPORTANT: Pictures should be submitted within a timely manner. The design and production timeline will not begin until pictures have been received and confirmed. 
4. All artwork will be designed and created by Jacqueline Stine (me), current timeline 3-5 weeks.
   
   1. I design the custom file from scratch in Adobe Illustrator
      
   2. Your piece is laser cut in in my home office
   3. I then hand shape, paint, assemble, and finish your art piece
   4. Your finished art is carefully packaged and shipped to you
      1. You will receive status updates and communication as your artwork moves through the process.
      2. Your artwork will not be shipped until your final payment is complete. 
      3. Local pickup is available (Hartville, Ohio)

Photo Guidelines 

For the best results, please send:

• A straight-on photo of the front of the home (when possible)
• Clear daylight images
• Close-up detail shots, if applicable
• Multiple angles if trees or landscaping block the view

If you are unsure about your photos, please send what you have - I will review them and follow-up within 48 hours if additional information is needed.

Turnaround Time

Please allow approximately 3-5 weeks for design and production.

If you need your piece by a certain date, please specify in your order and I will let you know what's possible. 

Important Note

Each piece is created in my own layered wood style and is an artistic interpretation of the house. I focus on capturing the most recognizable and meaningful features while creating a finished piece that feels dimensional, thoughtful, and lasting.

No two houses — or pieces — will ever be exactly the same.
